Michael Shier’s practice focuses on labor/employment law and estate planning.  He is also experienced at alternative dispute resolution including mediation and arbitration.  Mr. Shier is an 18-year Maryland law enforcement veteran and has devoted his career to protecting and serving his community. He serves on various local boards and commissions.  Mr. Shier graduated, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law – a U.S. News nationally ranked top 50 ranked law school (top 10 part-time law school).
